Ngày 09/01/2025,  Trường Đại học Tôn Đức Thắng đã tổ chức lễ Nhận giấy chứng nhận Công nhận chương trình đào tạo tương đương của Hiệp hội Kế toán Công chức Úc. Trong khuôn khổ chương trình, Khoa Kế toán TDTU cũng tiến hành ký kết Biên bản ghi nhớ hợp tác với Công ty TNHH Parker Russell Việt Nam.

Ngày 10/01/2025, TDTU đã tổ chức Tọa đàm  “Xây dựng môi trường học tập tích cực, lấy người học làm trung tâm”, mở đầu cho chuỗi các hoạt động thao giảng năm 2025.

Ngày 10/01/2025, tại Trường Đại học Cảnh sát nhân dân đã diễn ra Hội nghị đánh giá kết quả thực hiện Bản ghi nhớ hợp tác giữa Trường Đại học Tôn Đức Thắng và Trường Đại học Cảnh sát nhân dân trong năm 2024 và đề ra phương hướng hợp tác năm 2025. Lãnh đạo hai trường nhất trí đánh giá cao những thành tựu, kết quả đạt được và cam kết sẽ đồng hành hỗ trợ, giúp đỡ lẫn nhau, tăng cường sự trao đổi đồng cấp.

On the morning of January 3, 2025, the Technical Student Party Cell 2 held the 7th Party Congress for the term 2025–2027. The Congress outlined the orientations, objectives, and solutions for the term 2025–2027.

On January 6, 2025, the Socio-Economic Party Cell 1 under the Party Committee of Ton Duc Thang University held the 7th Party Congress for the term 2025–2027. The Congress aimed to review the implementation of the Resolution of the Party Congress for the term 2022–2025, evaluate achievements, shortcomings, newly arising issues, strengths, weaknesses, causes, and lessons learned.

On December 28, 2024, the opening ceremony of the 3rd Vietnam Youth Student Football Tournament Qualifiers 2025 - Group E (Ho Chi Minh City Region) took place at the stadium of TDTU. The qualifiers for the tournament feature 67 teams divided into six regional groups. After the conclusion of the national qualifiers, 11 teams will advance, along with the host team, TDTU, to compete in the finals.

On December 24, 2024, TDTU solemnly held the Ceremony to announce and award the Commemorative Medal “For the Cause of Education” for 38 lecturers, the Certificate of Merit for Outstanding Teachers for Dr. Duong Thi Thuy Van ­­– Head of the Department of Testing and Quality Assessment, and the Decision on the Appointment and Reappointment of Associate Professor for 9 lecturers 2024.

On December 24, 2024, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) solemnly held the Ceremony to announce and award the Commemorative Medal “For the Cause of Education”, the Certificate of Merit for Outstanding Teachers, and the Decision on the Appointment and Reappointment of Associate Professor 2024.

On December 26, 2024, the Council of TDTU held its 22nd meeting for the term 2021-2026. During the meeting, Dr. Tran Trong Dao, President of TDTU, on behalf of the Presidential Board, reported on the University’s activities between the two meetings and major policies to guide the University’s activities in the coming period.
